Оld people love to say that the family table brings us together in a circle.
In my childhood the meaning of these words was rather obscure to me. I loved the coziness and warmth of our family dinners. I was always the first to scent the lunch flavor from the kitchen and with eager curiosity I used to watch my grandmother cooking her specialties.
As a matter of fact Kenar is her name.
A long time ago her parents used to run an inn near the "St. Zoravor" church, in the old Yerevan. My grandmother had the habit of saying that it was always full with customers because the people knew that everything there was cooked with love.
Today, my business has not only inherited but also has enriched the traditions of our family.
As though charmed from the delicious food in my childhood, I started as a chef, and then registered a company. For years I have been working with my wife in the workshops of Kenar and I know every machine, each detail of the production cycle.
The most important thing to me is that the food we cook for you is to be nourishing, healthy and delicious.
We used to have plenty of hard times too – when the first production base burned out, we needed about two months to recover from the material loses. But even then we didn’t make compromises with the quality of the food with the Kenar brand …
Kenar is a realized dream of mine – to offer you as a gift the coziness and warmth of the family dinners, the lunch flavor and the love with which we create them.
Because now I know that the circle that brings us together around the family table – is the circle of love, harmony and joy, warmed by a delicious dish.
